Edible Exhibition and Graphic Design

Edible exhibition was developed by Science Gallery Dublin, as an eclectic mix of existing and proposed innovations and intentions around food, and artifacts that reveal the different ways in which food is used and perceived. Ruza designed visual identity for the exhibition, infographics, exhibition signage, as well as concept for the original photography and the exhibition catalogue.

EDIBLE tackles the topic of food from the perspective of the eater, questioning how our actions as eaters shape what is sown, grown, harvested and consumed. The publication reflects this central premise of the show, which is how the choices we make in our daily diet determine the future of food. The aim was to create an exhibition guide, as well as a collection of informative articles and contemporary recipes which could sow seeds in the imagination of future explorers of the human diet. Illustrating the speculative and playful nature of the exhibition was of paramount importance in order to tie together the various exhibits and events therein, while also inspiring the audience to experiment with food in an easily accessible catalogue format.
